Laws current as of October 22, 2024 Who can get an injunction against harassment?
You can file for an injunction against harassment (IAH) if you are being harassed or abused as defined by law by someone who you are not related to, married to, intimately involved with, have a child in common with, and do not live with currently or in the past.1 For those types of relationships, which are listed in full here, you would have to apply for a domestic violence order of protection if you are being harassed.
