Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) offers services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Services include counseling for adults and children, support groups in English and Spanish, safety planning, emergency financial support, and help with education and training. AVDA can also provide legal services and representation for little or no cost in family law matters, such as protective orders, divorce, child support, child custody, and adoption. ADVA has offices in Houston, Brookshire, and Stafford. This location serves Austin, Grimes, Waller, and Washington counties.
