Humboldt County District Attorney's Victim Witness Program

Victim witness advocates can go to court with you, explain the court process, keep you informed of court dates and outcomes and help with a “victim of crime claim assistance” case.
Humboldt Domestic Violence Services
24-hour crisis/support: (707) 443-6042 or (866) 668-6543
The main services offered are short- and long-term shelter, emergency food and
clothing assistance, court accompaniment, assistance with getting a temporary domestic violence restraining order (TRO), support groups
with childcare provided, bilingual advocates, and referrals to other
community agencies if a client needs something that they cannot provide.
Humboldt Family Services Center
HFSC is a non-profit community counseling agency offering individual, couple, child and family counseling. Special counseling services are provided for adolescents, and play therapy is available for the children. HFSC offers a free walk-in clinic each Monday from 1 to 4 p.m.
North Coast Rape Crisis Team
Services include: 24-hour crisis counseling, accompaniment and advocacy, short-term counseling, support group, advocacy and accompaniment through the reporting process and court proceedings, and prevention education.
Two Feathers Native American Family Services

Services for the Native American community include: women’s program, social work services, emergency services, transportation, advocacy programs, therapy, children’s program, education, and information and referrals.
