Humboldt Domestic Violence Services provides services to survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sex trafficking throughout the county. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual counseling, restraining order assistance, accompaniment to court and other appointments, support groups, and referrals to resources. An intake form is required to access emergency services, including shelter.

Humboldt Family Services Center
The Humboldt Family Service Center is a non-profit community agency offering counseling services for individuals, couples, children and families. They focus on improving the quality of life through comprehensive, affordable, and professional mental health services, including counseling and court-mandated programs. The Center offers a child abuse prevention class, anger management counseling, and a 52-week batterer’s intervention program.
North Coast Rape Crisis Team (NCRCT) - Humboldt County
NCRCT is a rape crisis center with two locations serving Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, short-term peer counseling, support groups, medical/court/law enforcement accompaniment, self-defense workshops, and referrals. Their Campus Advocate Team provides services to students, faculty, and staff of Cal Poly Humboldt, who are survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment.
Two Feathers Native American Family Services
Two Feathers provides culturally-affirming mental health and wellness programs to Native American youth and their families in Humboldt County. Services include counseling, violence prevention programs, cultural programs, youth programs, and community activities to improve wellbeing and self-determination. Services for abused and neglected children include: crisis intervention, case management, court/hospital/school accompaniment, emergency shelter/food/clothing, advocacy, referrals, and transportation.
Victim Witness Assistance Program of the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office
The Victim Witness Assistance Program works to alleviate trauma that crime victims and their families experience. Through partnerships with law enforcement, victim service agencies, and other groups, the Program’s victim advocates are able to guide victims through the court process. Services include: crisis intervention, emergency assistance, case information and status, court orientation, court escort and support, restraining order assistance, assistance with the Victim of Crime Compensation application, and referrals to counseling and community services.
