Operates a 24-hour hotline, a short-term emergency shelter, crisis intervention with a Domestic Violence Victim Response Team and trained Sexual Assault Support Advocates, and individual and group counseling for women and their children. Legal services are also offered through the Family Court Advocacy program and the Municipal Court Advocates for criminal proceedings.
Works to end all forms of violence against South Asian women living in the U.S. Manavi provides legal services in three legal clinics per month to low income and/or no income South Asian women who are victims of domestic and sexual violence, trafficking, and stalking. The clinic will also assist women with issues such as housing, child custody, public assistance and residency status and other issues as it relates to their needs. Manavi also provides peer-supportive counseling services to South Asian women who are victims of all forms violence and will accompany women to various agencies (hospitals, courts, and/or police departments) to offer support and provide translation or interpretation.

Operates a 24-hour helpline for crisis counseling and referral, it provides for emergency shelter at a safe house and the first permanent supportive housing program for victims of domestic violence. Also provides a domestic violence legal advocate for assistance and advocacy, and offers group and individual counseling and a children’s counseling and art therapy services. A batterer’s intervention program is provided for promoting responsible fatherhood. Services are also provided in Spanish. The hotline provides services in all languages. For legal advocacy services the office number should be called.
