Providing emergency shelter, crisis help line 24 hrs a day, advocacy, support groups and access to community resources.Serving Dakota and surrounding counties. The Lewis House in Eagan offers emergency shelter, safe housing for battered women and their children. Also provide individual support, women’s and children’s support groups, including child care, a 24-hour crisis line, legal advocacy, information, resource referrals, and community education. Both Lewis House locations (Eagan & Hastings) are accessible to physically disabled and hearing-impaired families.

Someplace Safe services are free and confidential and available to all victims and survivors of crime. Including those who have experienced: domestic violence, sexual violence and exploitation, human and labor trafficking, and other crimes such as elder abuse, harassment, stalking and others. Offering a 24 hr helpline, advocacy services, support groups, education and short term emergency placement services. Also providing Parenting Time Centers for supervised visitations and exchanges for children and their families. Serving Wilkin, Otter Tail, Wadena, Douglas, Pope, Grant, Traverse, Big Stone, Stevens counties.
