Services and referrals available for victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Serving Carver and Scott counties.

Anna Marie's Alliance
Anna Marie’s Alliance helps to break the cycle of abuse by providing intensive, ongoing support, shelter, and resources. Services include 24-hour advocacy and shelter services, school youth program, after-care for survivors, and pet-friendly temporary shelter. Serving Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns Counties.
St. Louis
Advocates for Family Peace - Virginia Office
Advocates for Family Peace serves victims of intimate partner domestic violence. In particular, people experiencing an on-going pattern of coercion, intimidation, and emotional abuse, reinforced by the use and threat of physical and/or sexual violence. Offering 24 hr helpline, advocacy, information, resources, supportive listening and evaluating risks to provide assistance when a victim’s intimate partner has been arrested and/or assistance in filing a restraining order when needed. All advocacy services are free and confidential.Serving Itasca and Northern St. Louis Counties.
American Indian Community Housing Organization - Dabinoo'Igan Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter
American Indian Community Housing Organization serves the residents of St. Louis, Koochiching, Lake, Cook, and Itasca Counties. Provides counseling, legal advocacy, transitional housing and emergency shelter to American Indian women and their children.
Safe Haven Shelter and Resources Center
Safe Haven Shelter and Resources Center offers multiple services to victims of domestic violence. Services include emergency shelter, 24 hr crisis line, legal advocacy, safety planning, support groups, referrals and community education.
Staples
Hands of Hope Resource Center - Staples Office
Hands of Hope Resource Center provides free and confidential services to residents of Morrison County and Todd County affected by crime and abuse. Services include: short-term emergency safe housing for victims of domestic violence, coordination of long term housing with shelters, safety planning, assistance filing Orders for Protection (OFP), assistance filing Harassment Restraining Orders (HRO), support during emergency room visits and related medical procedures, ongoing support counseling and support groups. Serving Morrison and Todd counties.

Someplace Safe services are free and confidential and available to all victims and survivors of crime. Including those who have experienced: domestic violence, sexual violence and exploitation, human and labor trafficking, and other crimes such as elder abuse, harassment, stalking and others. Offering a 24 hr helpline, advocacy services, support groups, education and short term emergency placement services. Also providing Parenting Time Centers for supervised visitations and exchanges for children and their families.
