Laws current as of June 21, 2024 How can I raise a claim that an abusive civil action has been filed?
You may raise the claim that the case against you is an abusive civil action in either of the following ways:
- in the answer to the abuser’s petition or complaint; or
- by a motion made at any time during the abuser’s case against you.1
