They offer 24-hour on-call assistance; law enforcement can help victims reach an advocate after hours. Services include assistance with protection orders and victim compensation, accompaniment in court and interviews with law enforcement, guidance through court processes, referrals, and more. The office is located in the basement level of the Big Horn County Courthouse, and advocates speak English and Spanish. In order to apply for crime victims’ compensation, victims must contact a service provider, who will help to complete the application and submit it to DVS.
