Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (DVSAS) of the San Juan Islands is a non-profit agency whose mission is the prevention and elimination of domestic violence and sexual assault through victim services, education, community awareness and cultural and social change. Assists residents and visitors of San Juan County, Washington, whom have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse or sexual harassment.

Through direct advocacy-based counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, emergency shelter services, referrals to community resources and prevention and outreach efforts throughout the county Skagit Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services provides services to survivors, their families, and the larger community.

YWCA of Spokane - Alternatives to Domestic Violence Program
Spokane’s only state-recognized domestic violence program for victims and survivors. Our services are free, confidential, and designed to empower survivors through knowledge and connection to resources. Having a domestic violence charge against you doesn’t mean you can’t access Alternatives to Domestic Violence Program.

Rural Resources Community Action
Trained volunteers and staff can provide victims of domestic violence or sexual assault with temporary safe shelter,information about victim’s rights, crisis intervention and safety planning, therapy for sexual abuse victims through contracted qualified therapists (services are available only by referral and based on availability of funding), resources and referral to services such as legal or financial assistance, counseling, housing, employment and medical care, assistance with court orders for legal protection through restraining orders, and community education and training to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.
