YWCA Evanston/ North Shore provides services to victims and survivors of domestic violence with a legal advocacy program at the District Two Courthouse in Skokie, as well as other supportive services including a 24-hour crisis line. The legal advocacy program helps with orders of protections and safety planning.

Sojourn Shelter and Services, Inc.
Sojourn Shelter and Services provides shelter services for victims of domestic violence. They also provide court advocacy, for both civil and criminal proceedings, including helping individuals complete orders of protection petitions, a children’s program, and prevention & education programs. Individual and group counseling are available for non-residential clients as well as referrals and advocacy.

YWCA of the Sauk Valley provides a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy including helping individuals file orders of protection and provide information and support throughout the entire legal process, medical advocacy when talking to health care professionals, counseling and support groups and children’s services.

Alternatives to Domestic Violence provides resources to victims of domestic violence or sexual violence. Services include emergency shelter, a 24-hour hotline, legal advocacy and medical advocacy. Services are available to residents of the shelter and non-residents.
