Crosspoint Human Services provides services to victims of domestic violence, those in need of shelter, veterans, and people with developmental disabilities. Domestic violence and homeless services include: a 24-hour hotline, counseling and advocacy for adults and children, domestic violence shelter for women and children, Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP), legal and medical advocacy, and drug treatment. Crosspoint Human Services serves Vermilion County.

DOVE, Inc. provides a residential shelter that is staffed 24-hours a day along with a 24-hour hotline. The legal advocacy department assists victims in obtaining orders of protection, and can help victims understand their other legal options. They also have counseling programs, children’s services and a referral program.

Safe Passage, Inc. provides a wide range of services for victims of domestic and sexual violence including emergency shelter, transitional housing, crisis intervention and medical advocacy, counseling, legal advocacy, children’s services, community education, and Latina outreach program.

Korean American Women in Need (KAN-WIN) - Des Plaines office
Korean American Women in Need provides free comprehensive services to women and children affected by domestic violence such as a 24 hour hotline, transitional housing, legal advocacy, case management, support group for survivors, children’s programs, and sexual assault services programs. All programs are bilingual, Korean and English and there is a language translator for non- English-speaking or non-Korean-speaking callers to the hotline.
Life Span - Des Plaines office
Life Span provides free legal services in Chicago and Suburban Cook County for issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault, including direct legal representation, in English, Spanish, Polish, and Arabic. They provide legal services and counseling in domestic violence and sexual assault situations, including orders of protection, divorces, custody cases, and immigration cases.
