WomensLaw regrets that these resources have not been updated recently. However, please note that the legal content on the Know the Laws section is updated annually and the rest of the website is also updated regularly.
Included in this list are organizations that provide free or low-cost legal services to victims of abuse and others who qualify. Even if the organization does not have a lawyer available to represent you in court, you may want to ask if there is a lawyer who you can consult with to get advice.
For those who do not qualify for free legal assistance, we link to the state’s Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service(s) for private attorneys.
