Chugachmiut, Inc.’s Behavioral Health Department serves the communities through prevention-oriented community outreach services for domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: education and communication within families to prevent fracture. In emergency cases, staff will refer and direct victims to resources where they can get critical medical attention or shelter.

Arctic Women in Crisis
Arctic Women in Crisis (AWIC) services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child and vulnerable adult abuse. Crisis intervention, one-to-one counseling, groups, legal and medical advocacy provided. Emergency shelter in Barrow, volunteer Safe Homes in seven outlying villages (Atqasuk, Barter Island (Kaktovik), Nuiqsut, Point Hope, Point Lay, Anaktuvuk Pass and Wainwright) Emergency one way transportation to Barrow.
Tundra Women's Coalition
The Tundra Women's Coalition operates a 24-hour crisis line, provides victim advocacy, and hospital accompaniment, facilitates support groups, and children's programs and transportation assistance.

Safe and Fear-Free Environment (SAFE) provide services that enhance safety and promote non-violence for the well-being of the people of Bristol Bay.
Emmonak Women's Shelter
Emmonak Women's Shelter (EWS) is a nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of services including crisis intervention services, children’s services, and a shelter as well as education and support for domestic violence victims. They also provide education and support services for local communities, schools, Tribal Councils, city governments and other human service providers.
Emmonak Women’s shelter serves an area of approximately 6,000 miles and is located 200 miles north west of Bethel, Alaska.

Aiding Women in Abuse & Rape Emergencies (AWARE) operates an emergency shelter and provides crisis intervention, advocacy and legal advocacy, operates education and support groups, children's counseling, a program for teens, and a program for abusers. AWARE's rural outreach extends to Elfin Cove, Gustavus, Haines, Hoonah, Klukwan, Pelican, Skagway, Tenakee Springs and Yakutat.
The LeeShore Center
The LeeShore Center offers an emergency shelter and transitional living, a children's program, youth outreach, and a program for abusive men.
The LeeShore Center serves the Central Kenai Peninsula.
Ketchikan Indian Community

Ketchikan Indian Community provides support services to survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. KIC’s goal is to increase safety for women and children through intervention, education and support. Services include: counseling, crisis intervention, safety education, court accompaniment, assistance filling out and filing legal documents (restraining orders), legal assistance (KIC can hire an attorney to represent clients in court for child custody and/or divorce cases), victim safety checks, transition support (financial assistance – subject to availability of funds – and individual needs assessment). KIC serves all Alaska Native and American Indians residing in the Ketchikan Gateway Borough.
Women in Safe Homes
Women in Safe Homes is a grassroots organization that promotes zero tolerance for violent crimes and victim rights. They provide direct service to Domestic violence victims and survivors. Women in Safe Homes serves in Ketchikan and rural communities in Southeast Alaska.

Kodiak Women's Resource and Crisis Center (KWRCC) provides resources and crisis services to the community, as well as a shelter for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. KWRCC serves communities of Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska including Akhiok, Chiniak, Danger Bay, Karluk, Kodiak, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie and Port Lions.

Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault - Sitka Office
Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault is a non-profit, membership corporation composed of 18 programs statewide that provide services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, offender services, and adult crisis intervention services. They also have a 24-hour hotline and provide referrals to other direct services.
Sitkans Against Family Violence
Sitkans Against Family Violence (SAFV) is dedicated to the empowerment of women and children and therefore committed to the elimination of personal and societal violence. SAFV is committed to preventative work with all to end the intergenerational cycle of abuse. They run a shelter that offers both emergency shelter and transitional housing. Transportation assistance to the shelter is also available.
SAFV serves the Sitkan area.

The Children’s Place
A child-friendly, neutral facility where professionals from many agency involved in the evaluation, investigation and treatment of child abuse meet to coordinate and bring their services to the child and their families.
