We created a new question in our West Virginia Financial Exploitation Protective Orders page called In which county should the protective order be filed? and updated What are the steps to getting a financial exploitation protective order? to include the fact that it can be filed in the circuit court, not only the magistrate court. We also added information about the fact that anyone can file a petition on behalf of the victim to Who is eligible for a financial exploitation protective order? Who can file the paperwork?
