RI Litigation Abuse

April 2025

In preparation for translating the entire state into Spanish, we reviewed and revised all nine questions in our Rhode Island Litigation Abuse section for clarity and accuracy. We created a new question, What documents can I use to prove that the person filing abusive litigation abused me?, to help users understand what kinds of documents can show that a court found the person to be abusive — a requirement for getting an order restricting abusive litigation. Spanish translation coming soon!
