Based on a change to the law that took effect in November 2020, we added the new crime of ”sexual abuse by a school employee” to What is the legal definition of a sexual assault offense? in our Nebraska Sexual Assault Protection Orders page. We also clarified the different degrees of the other crimes that make up a “sexual assault offense” and hyperlinked each crime to the statutory definition. Lastly, we added three related crimes to our Selected Nebraska Statutes page.
