Based on 2024 legislative changes, we did the following in English; Spanish coming soon:
- Revised What protections can I get in an injunction for protection against domestic violence? in our Florida Restraining Orders section to add that the judge can order the exchange of the child to be at a supervised visitation program or in the parking lot at the sheriff’s office that has video surveillance, known as a “neutral safe exchange location;” and
- Revised What is a parenting plan? in our Florida Custody section to explain why a judge could order the exchange of the child to be at a supervised visitation program or in the parking lot at the sheriff’s office that has video surveillance, known as a “neutral safe exchange location,” as part of a parenting plan.
