Crisis Intervention Shelter Services, Inc. offers a 24-hr crisis line, emergency shelter, referrals, assistance with finding permanent housing and support groups for victims of domestic and/or sexual violence and their children.

Catholic Family Services provides a variety of counseling programs: grief, individual, family, and adoption services. Services offered in five locations across eastern South Dakota. Counseling is professional and confidential.
Children's Inn

Children’s Inn provides shelter services victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, dating violence, sexual assault, and child abuse & neglect. Services are provided, but are not limited, to the South Dakota counties of Minnehaha, McCook, Lincoln, Turner, and Union. Children’s Inn also provides the following services to victims (even if you are not in our shelter): assistance in the completion of protection order paperwork; counseling; support groups; and parenting groups. Services may be provided in your community as part of the Rural Outreach Program.

The Wholeness Center

The Wholeness Center provides several types of services to assist victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking, as well as offers the support and resources needed to make healthy choices. Services provided include: immediate 24-hour shelter, crisis hotline, crisis counseling, intervention, legal advocacy, assistance in obtaining protection/stalking orders, courtroom advocacy, referral services, assistance in accessing community resources and limited financial assistance.
