Included in this list are organizations that provide free or low-cost legal services to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as to others who qualify. Even if the organization does not have a lawyer available to represent you in court, you may want to ask if there is a lawyer with whom you can consult to obtain advice. We list the organizations by the county where the office is located, but many offices serve multiple counties. We indicate the “counties served” whenever possible. LASCO offers free legal help in civil matters to people with low income, veterans, and seniors in 36 Ohio counties. They can provide advice and representation in cases of domestic violence, stalking, abuse, custody, parenting time, divorce, and child support. Other areas of service include senior issues, veterans issues, housing, immigration, and more. This LASCO office serves Knox, Licking, Muskingum, and Perry counties.
