The Montana Lawyer Referral Service is a directory provided by the State Bar of Montana to assist those with legal needs in finding a lawyer who is most appropriate for their legal needs. The referral service offers a directory of attorneys and their legal practice area. Legal practice areas include, but are not limited to: agricultural law, bankruptcy, child custody/support, divorce, domestic violence, family law, immigration, sexual harassment, tribal law, and more. If you are a victim of abuse, you may want to ask the Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service whether or not they screen for lawyers who are experienced in handling domestic violence cases.
