Belton Victim Services provides services to victims of crime. Services include: counseling, court and police advocacy, information and referral, emergency assistance, 24-hour crisis intervention (A request for Victim Assistance crisis response must be made through the Belton Police Department.), transportation to the hospital, friend’s home, shelter, or safe place, short-term support, victim compensation and crime prevention information, case status information, transition to the court system, public awareness, and protection and education of the victim’s rights. Belton Victim Services serves Cass County.
