Centro de la Familia serves members of the Latinx and immigrant community. It provides culturally and linguistically responsive affordable services, in English and Spanish, designed to meet the needs of each individual family. Services offered in the areas of: support for survivors of domestic violence and other crimes, crisis intervention, mental health, personal and legal advocacy, immigration support, parenting education, support groups, and more. Serving El Paso County and surrounding areas.
TESSA
24 hour crisis line; Safehouse, including emergency shelter, food, case management, counseling, support to female survivors and their children, court support, assistance with multiple local resources for permanent safe housing, employment, childcare, adult education, and obtaining new identities; short-term safe shelter vouchers for local hotels for male victims and their children; Victim Advocacy, including system assistance (criminal justice), court support, assistance with temporary restraining orders, and community resources; children’s programs for children in TESSA’s Safehouse and children from the community; counseling program for adult victims.
Rural programs in Cripple Creek/Divide (for Teller County) and Calhan (Eastern El Paso County) with adult counseling services available by appointment and advocacy on a walk-in basis. Addresses and walk-in hours available on website.
