The LRIS can provide referrals to a lawyer in a particular field of law, taking into consideration the type of legal problem, the client’s financial circumstances, spoken language, and other requirements. Their Free Legal Help page has a list of legal aid groups that provide free services, a link to research low-cost legal aid, and tips on finding immigration legal providers. The website also has a directory of certified lawyer referral services, which is organized by region and county and available in an alphabetical list.
