Standing Together to End Sexual Assault (STESA) is the former Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center. STESA provides confidential counseling and support services to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, self-defense workshops, and education. STESA can help survivors: receive medical attention, make a police report, obtain an emergency protective order, access emergency shelter/food/transportation, apply for a U-Visa or T-Visa, and receive referrals. Their service area extends from Carpinteria to the Santa Ynez Valley.
