The Center for Domestic Peace, formerly the Marin Abused Women’s Services, provides services to victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking in Marin County. Services include: a 24-hour bilingual English/Spanish hotline, emergency shelter, long-term transitional housing, safety planning, counseling, support groups, advocacy, and classes for stopping violence behavior. Free legal services include: court accompaniment, restraining orders, and guidance with immigration relief (U Visa, VAWA, and asylum). Interpreter services, including sign language, are available at no cost. Services are provided to all survivors, regardless of their immigration status.
