NextStep serves victims and survivors of intimate partner violence, dating violence, stalking and sex trafficking. Services include: a 24-hour helpline, legal assistance, emergency shelter, community education, support groups, supportive housing, safety planning, and more. The shelter location is confidential and it is available for victims-survivors and their children and pets. Interpretation services available when calling the hotline. NextStep has two offices and serves Hancock and Washington counties.

Passamaquoddy Peaceful Relations Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center provides services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emotional support, safety planning, door lock replacement and window alarms, emergency shelter, transitional housing assistance, referrals, advocacy, transportation, accompaniment to hospital and to Tribal/state court, community education, legal representation in civil matters arising from domestic violence, and more. Serving members of the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Tribe and community members residing on the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Reservation.
