Provides free legal and social services to Texans experiencing family or dating violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, child abuse, and stalking. Services include help with protective orders, divorce, custody, child support, permanent housing, crime victim’s compensation, self-representation support, and more. To apply for services, call the help line or complete the online application. Services provided in English and Spanish.

TLSC provides free legal advice and representation in a variety of legal areas at no cost to low-income residents of Texas. For victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, and violent crime, TLSC can help with protective orders, family law, crime victims’ compensation, identity theft, early lease termination, and more. Apply for legal services by phone or by completing the online application form. They also host legal clinics in rural centers across the state on civil legal issues such as divorce, child custody, and visitation.
