Maine Court Forms

Updated:
September 1, 2023

The State of Maine Judicial Branch website has many court forms available, including:

  • a protection from abuse order;
  • protection from harassment order;
  • a motion to extend a protection order; and
  • divorce with and without children.

Note: There are separate protection order forms available depending on whether you are planning to file the forms in person at the courthouse or via email.1

You can also get the forms from the clerk of court when you go to the courthouse. To find the courthouse in your area, go to our Maine Courthouse Locations page.

A domestic violence organization in your area may also be able to provide you with the necessary forms or help you to fill them out. Go to Maine Advocates and Shelters to find an organization in your area.
