Branches works to empower the increasing number of domestic violence victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence. Branches provides emergency shelter for those in need. Additionally, Branches offers legal advocacy, legal referrals, individual & group counseling, and case management to ready their clients to become independent. All of Branches’ services are free of charge.

Calhoun County
Family Crisis Intervention Center (FCIC) - Calhoun County Outreach Office

FCIC has a shelter located in Wood County, which provides a short-term (30 days or less) safe place for victims to reside while they prepare for living safely. They also provide victim advocacy including crisis intervention, legal advocacy, case management, and group therapy. Lastly, their Kids First Program offers children a safe place for court appointed visits with their parents. The headquarters is located in Wood County.

YWCA Resolve Family Abuse Program - Clay County Outreach Office
YWCA Resolve offers case management, court advocacy, counseling, support groups, safety planning, monitored parent-child visitation and exchange, and more. The headquarters is located in Charleston, WV.
