Kansas Restraining Orders
Laws current as of January 17, 2019
Kansas offers two types of civil protection orders:
- protection from abuse orders, which provide protection from an intimate partner or household member; and
- protection from stalking, sexual assault, or human trafficking orders, which provide protection from a perpetrator regardless of your relationship to that person.
This section includes information about who qualifies for each order and what protections each order can give to you and your children.
