Where can I find help in my local community?

To find a list of local resource centers in your community, please check the Local Programs page for your state under the Places that Help tab at the top of this page.

You may also contact the Family Violence Prevention Fund at //fundatendabuse.org">fundatendabuse.org or call (415) 252-8900 if you have immigration questions.

In an emergency, or to find a battered women's shelter or other local program near you, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE or (TTY) 1-800-787-3224.

Where can I find additional resources on the Internet?

In addition to local programs, there are some national organizations that provide support and/or information for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault who are immigrants.  Please see the list of International/Immigration organizations listed in the National Help section under the Places that Help tab.
