.Is there is a law that child can't spend overnight with father until age 1?
Although I am not specifically familiar with [STATE] laws, courts generally encourage involvement from both parents and so I am not sure why such a law would be passed - you can ask a lawyer if your state happens to have a law like this. Generally, child custody and visitation agreements may be decided on a case-by-case basis based on what is in the best interest of a child. Judges aren’t supposed to automatically favor either parent in a custody case. Here is a link that, among other things, discusses what factors courts consider when making custody decisions: LINK
If you don’t want the child to be away from you, perhaps you may want to ask an attorney how to prove to the judge that it is not good for the baby to be away from you - perhaps if the child is nursing or if the child does not know the other parent well or if the child has difficulty sleeping, for example, a judge may consider factors similar to these? I don’t know. Custody laws are complicated and are different in every state. It is important to speak to a lawyer in your state who has experience with custody and family law.
