1) whether placing a child with the non-custodial parent may be a reason for the non-custodial parent to file for (and be granted) custody; and whether or not it may be viewed negatively by a court when considering your ability to be the custodial parent in a future custody battle;
2) how placing the child in the other parent’s care may affect your child support and whether it may mean that you would have to pay child support to the other parent;
3) whether giving physical custody to the other parent may or may not affect your custody of any other children that you have (if custody of those children were ever challenged).
