Custody & Kidnapping

I am not specifically familiar with STATE’s laws on this and so I don’t know if there is a law or other regulation that specifically addresses whether or not children can share a bedroom with a parent or not. Perhaps some factors that may be considered are if the child has his/her own bed, or if they are all sharing a bed, if there is a risk/danger of the parent rolling over onto the child (if the child is an infant, for example), if the bedroom is big enough to accomodate the children and the parents, etc. You may want to ask an attorney if perhaps the Child Protective Services agency has regulations about this and whether or not it may be the basis to argue in court that it is inappropriate for them to share a room or sleep in the same bed.
