Restraining Orders

A “sexual assault offense” includes:

• sexual assault in the 1^st degree, 2^nd degree, and 3^rd degree;
• committing or attempting to commit “sexual contact” or “sexual penetration” without consent, as those terms are defined by law;
• sexual abuse by a school employee; and
• sexual assault of a child in the 1^st degree, 2^nd degree, and 3^rd degree.¹
