V requests legal fees be paid

Unfortunately, I do not know of any organizations specifically that give out funding for victims of abuse who need legal fees. I know that some domestic violence programs may get funding from charities that they can use to help victims of abuse who are looking to escape abuse and I imagine that legal fees might be seen as something needed for this purpose. However, as you may know, legal fees often run in the thousands of dollars and often, more money is owed to the lawyer (after the original retainer) as the case becomes more complicated. Here is a link for the local domestic violence programs in case you want to make some calls to see if anyone has money for this purpose: LINK Unfortunately, I don’t know of any national programs that I can refer you to.
