A knows V's whereabouts; info on GPS and other tracking options
Often times when someone feels that his/her partner always knows where s/he is and/or is always showing up at those locations, it could be because the partner has installed a GPS tracking device on his/her car, has put a tracking app in his/her phone, or has installed some sort of keystroke spyware to monitor the person’s use of a computer (and so the abuser is able to read the other person’s emails, for example). Do you think that it’s possible that [FILL IN your ex, ETC] may have done any of these things or is doing something else to track your movements? The Safety Net project has some basic tips on planning for safety in the face of stalking and technology. They have more documents here (click on “General Safety and Techonology”).
You may want to connect with a local domestic violence advocate who can help you figure out whether or not there is something similar to what I mentioned above going on in your situation. Here is a link for local advocates: LINK
