Title IX referrals for lawyers

I reached out to my colleagues to try to get the best referrals for you regarding organizations that may do this work. Here are a few that you may find useful:
1. Know Your IX has a listing of lawyers on this page: http://knowyourix.org/dealing-with/dealing-with-finding-a-lawyer/
2. Legal Momentum deals with Title IX cases .
3. NOTE TO STUDENT - THIS WAS THE CA SEXUAL ASSAULT COALTION - GOOGLE THE Sexual Assault COALITION IN THE RELEVANT STATE INSTEAD [CALCASA, which is the sexual assault coalition in California doesn’t do direct representation that I know of, but they may know who are the go-to lawyer referrals in California: ]
4. There is an attorney in NYC, Carrie Goldberg, who works in this area of the law and partners with lawyers in other states to do Title IX work. Although she is a private lawyer, she might give a free consultation on the phone to help guide you or talk through your options.
