Question about mandatory reporting of non-DV issues (i.e., suicidal ideations)
I am sorry that we don’t have information on the questions you are seeking answers to. Perhaps you may be able to contact the licensing board of professional that work at the agency you mention - for example, if it is a social work based organization, perhaps the licensing board for social workers in [STATE] can tell you the requirements. Alternatively, if the organization has a general counsel (lawyer) or access to a pro bono lawyer at a local firm, perhaps that person may be able to do legal research to find out what STATE’s laws are on this topic. Due to the sheer volume of emails that we get, we are not able to take on research projects such as this one.
Lastly, we have a link on our website about mandatory reporting for professionals among the medical community regarding domestic violence. Perhaps that could be one place to reach out to in order to ask if they can refer you to a place that may deal with the type of mandatory reporting you are asking about.
