What are biometrics? (U visa)

Biometrics refers to fingerprinting and photographing for the u-visa applicant. I found a booklet from a non-profit that discusses the process a bit more, including what the applicant should bring with him/her - you can see it here if you scroll to page 4: http://www.immigrantjustice.org/sites/immigrantjustice.org/files/U%20Vis… However, please know that we are not affiliated with that organization and so I cannot vouch for the information contained in it.
