V asks if H will lose citizenship/get in trouble if she files VAWA
Generally, US citizens can lose their citizenship in very few ways - I
found this link from the federal government, which explains the
circumstances under which a citizen can lose status: http://travel.state.gov/law/citizenship/citizenship_778.html
If your husband was an immigrant and then got his green card and then his
citizenship, I don’t know if there are any additional risks for losing
citizenship status for someone who obtained it that way but you can ask an
immigration lawyer.
In terms of whether or not he would get into trouble based on your
accusations, the Immigration office is separate than your local police.
Immigration is looking at your petition to see if you’d qualify for VAWA
relief, not necessarily to see if the abuser broke a criminal law.
However, since I am not an expert in immigration laws, it makes sense for
you to talk to an immigration lawyer to confirm whether there is any
possible repercussions just to be certain. Here are links for lawyers in
TX and some that are national organizations that you may want to contact to
find one that specializes in VAWA:

Also, you may want to get some support to deal with the abuse you have
suffered - here is a link for organizations:LINK
and here is a lot of detailed information on VAWA self-petitions:
