Can I get help with the fees to apply for citizenship?[or any other immigration petition]

Often, courts and other administrative bodies will waive (do away with) the fees for certain proceedings for low-income people. I looked up on US Immigration website if there is a fee waiver available for applying for one’s citizenship and I found this link that talks about fee waivers: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176…

It doesn’t specifically say “citizenship” fee waivers are available or not but if you click on the first link on that page (called Read the instructions for Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver, to see if a fee waiver is available for the form you are filing.), perhaps reading those instructions will tell you whether or not one may be available.

Also, you may want to get assistance or advice from a legal organization specializing in immigration matters if you are still not sure whether a waiver may be available to you. Here are links for lawyers in STATE and some that are national organizations that you may want to
