Can I get help with the fees to apply for citizenship?[or any other immigration petition]
Often, courts and other administrative bodies will waive (do away with) the fees for certain proceedings for low-income people. I looked up on US Immigration website if there is a fee waiver available for applying for one’s citizenship and I found this link that talks about fee waivers: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176…
It doesn’t specifically say “citizenship” fee waivers are available or not but if you click on the first link on that page (called Read the instructions for Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver, to see if a fee waiver is available for the form you are filing.), perhaps reading those instructions will tell you whether or not one may be available.
