Mental health issues- voice to skull
Dear [name],
Thank you for reaching out to us. I am so sorry to hear what you are going through, it sounds awful. At WomensLaw we can provide legal information and referrals related to domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Even though we have information on abuse using technology, we do not have information on voice to skull technology.
However, what you described in your email sounds very stressful. A person who is under a great deal of stress may consider speaking to a professional to learn about ways to manage stress, perhaps this might provide some relief. To find someone to help you, you can use the Mental Health Treatment Locator on the SAMHSA website (the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). SAMHSA is the federal agency that leads public health efforts to advance behavioral health.
[If DV is mentioned] If there was abuse in your past [relationship / marriage / etc], it may also be helpful to contact a local domestic violence organization in your area. An advocate there may be able to provide confidential counseling services, make legal referrals, and help with making a safety plan (thinking of ways to make yourself as safe as possible). You can find local organizations near you on our Advocates and Shelters page. You can also call the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233) to be put in touch with a local organization near you. And you can find additional information about safety planning on our website on the Safety Tips page.
I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Please write back at any time with further questions.
