V asks if crim ct OP was issued (A arrested)

I can’t speak to your specific situation but generally, if a person is arrested for violating a civil protection order of for any type of domestic violence crime, often the criminal court will issue a criminal protection order on behalf of the victim. This is often done without the victim’s prior knowledge since the victim isn’t present in court and may even be done if the victim does not request or want it. I do not know if one was issued in your situation however this may be something that the district attorney who is on your case may be able to tell you if you inquire. If there is a criminal court order or any protection order, a respondent can be guilty of violating it if s/he violates the terms even if the victim “allows” the behavior. If you cannot reach the district attorney, you may be able to find out how your county handles these situations from a civil attorney at a legal organization, which you can find here:LINK
