Some restraining orders are issued in criminal court and some are issued in civil court.
A civil order that provides protection from harm by a family or household member.
A civil order that protects victims who were injured or stalked by a non-family member or non-household member.
A civil order that protects adults over the age of 65 or an adult with a disability from abuse.
