Some restraining orders are issued in criminal court and some are issued in civil court.
A civil order that protects you from abuse by a family or household member.
If you do not qualify for an Order for Protection, you may be able to get one of these types of orders.
An order that an employer can get to prohibit unlawful violence or credible threats of violence against an employee.
Your Order of Protection may be enforceable wherever you move.
