A protection from abuse order is a civil order that provides protection from harm by family or household members, sexual or intimate partners or persons who you have a child in common with.
Some restraining orders are issued in criminal court and some are issued in civil court.

Your protection from abuse order may be enforceable wherever you move.
If you are planning to move to PA or are going to be in PA for any reason, your out-of-state protection order may be enforceable.
