A restraining order or protective order is a legal order issued by a state court which requires one person to stop harming another. In Nevada, there are several types of orders explained below.
Some restraining orders are issued in criminal court and some are issued in civil court.
A civil order that provides protection for you and your family from an abuser.
Provides protection from an abuser while you are in the workplace.
Your Order of Protection may be enforceable wherever you move.
If you are planning to move to NV or are going to be in NV for any reason, your protection or restraining order may be enforced.
