In Arkansas, restraining orders are called Orders of Protection, No Contact Orders, or Injunctions. These are court orders requiring one person to stop harming another. There are several types of orders explained below.
Some restraining orders are issued in criminal court and some are issued in civil court.
A civl order that protects you from abuse by someone with whom you have a specific relationship.
An order to protect a victim of stalking, harassment, sexual assault, or domestic violence while at work.
Available when the abuser has been arrested and charged with a crime.
Your restraining or protective order may be enforceable wherever you move.
If you are planning to move to AR or are going to be in AR for any reason, your protection or restraining order may be enforced.
