The civil clerk of the court will provide you with the forms that you need to file for your Order of Protection. If you need assistance filling out the form, ask the clerk for help. You will also find links to online forms at our Download Court Forms page. You may also get help with the court system through one of the domestic violence organizations listed on our HI State and Local Programs page.
Below you will find a list of both District Courts and Family Courts in Hawaii. For more information on the Hawaii court system, go to: www.courts.state.hi.us .
If you live in Maui you can call Child and Family Serives or Womens Helping Women
If you are not related to your abuser, and you have never lived together, go to the District Court to file a request for an Order of Protection.
If you are related to your abuser or you have ever lived with your abuser, call the Adult Services Branch of Family Court (ASB) to apply for your Temporary Restraining Order.
